Fondant, Frosting and Fillings are all susceptible to temperature. Soft fruit fillings are NOT recommended as they leach liquid and cause a cake to soften and decorations to collapse.
The Gypsy Chef advises that clients please take precautions when ordering a cake for their event. Note the time of year, venue and temperature will have an effect on your cake. Refrigerated storage is recommended until time of serving. Cakes are made up to 3 days prior to event and while the Gypsy Chef takes every precaution to ensure your cake remains in it’s best condition upon delivery we do not take responsibility for clients choice of Fondant, Frosting and Fillings, storage or condition of cake after it is delivered. Please take recommendations offered in your best interest.
